If you don't know what it does, you don't need it.

Mainly macro work.
Bellows perform, essentially, the same action as extension tubes.
That is: they increase the distance between the lens and camera sensor.
This decreases the lens' minimum focusing distance, allowing for the lens to focus closer to the physical object.
Focusing closer to the object allows for a higher reproduction ratio of your pictures creating impressive close-ups.
Bellows are also used for high accuracy macro work, like focus staking.

True. But when you do know what it does, the you have to have it, LOL!

If I didn't already have a bellows set up, I'd be on it.

I believe I can ship internationally... I've just never done it before.
Using Canada Post's 'Find a Rate' tool, I've plugged in both Australia and Missouri for quotes - see PDFs.
I don't know if there would be addition taxes/duties? As I've said - never shipped international.

I would be happy to defer to @monochrome. Postage across the 49th parallel would be much simpler than crossing the globe.

I don’t understand the distinctions between the package prices. One option is $20 CDN less than the other. What is the difference between the two?

I know we aren’t supposed to comment on prices but this is discussing shipping options,.

I don't know which courier company Canada Post uses in the U.S., but Express Post won't be delivered if you aren't there to sign for it, Expedited Parcel will be left on your doorstop or in your mailbox and within Canada, at least, delivery is just as quick as Express Post in practice. It also avoids the issue of having to wait an extra day to pick it up at a post office if you don't answer the door within 5 seconds of the delivery person ringing your doorbell. Both come with insurance and if not delivered within the guaranteed time, shipping charges will be refunded (if the sender complains to Canada Post). We've used Expedited Parcel twice to send packages to Austin and Phoenix without issue and multiple times within Canada. Whatever you do, don't send it regular parcel post.
