Item Description
I bought this Sigma 17-35 lens in June when I bought a K200D. I used it briefly as a complement to a Sigma 28-300mm I carry as a travel/walkabout lens for film cameras. I very quickly succumbed, however, to the lighter and smaller DA lenses, and replaced this one with a DA 16-45. There is nothing wrong with this Sigma lens; it takes good photos, including close-ups. It covers full-frame and has an aperture ring, so if you shoot film here's a way to get below 20mm for not much money. Auto focus is quick and accurate. This is the later model of this lens, lighter and with a 77mm filter thread. Here's a review from ePhotozine:
