Those tubes look quite nice, though it should be noted that the painted base may result in wide-open only exposure on recent model Pentax dSLRs. Have you tested the extension tubes on your K-1?

Edit: I did not intend to disparage the extension tube set. They appear to be well made and the price is definitely right. The problem with a painted or anodized base is that the camera will not operate the aperture actuator unless a lens with a conductive base is mounted. The fix is to remove a section of the coating in opposite one or more of the mount contacts on the camera (male) side.

Steve, AT-22 is old film era tubes, all I know about them. It came with the old camera set I purchased on ebay, I played with tubes ones, and put them back in the box. I assumed someone who knows this model, knows how to use it.

The Pringles picture was taken with close up lens, not with tubes.

I understand and will edit my comment. That said, I will also send you a PM with intent to purchase the tubes. They are much nicer than the set I own.
