Wow, the marketplace is really slow lately...

If you were in the US I'd ask you to put this on eBay with BIN to take advantage of the Live.com cashback.

Free bump, anyway

It does take you 60 days to get your money, so I assume there is a pot of money sitting in some high-yield account gathering interest. Also the advertising revenues from clicking on the Live.com website help pay for it. But it still doesn't quite add up... I'm sure Microsoft realised this because when they first launched it the maximum you could claim in one transaction was $250, and now that's gone down to $200. Still great

the thing about Live.com

those of us "taking advantage" of it are bypassing the marketing mechanism.

we know what we want, and we use the provided tool to get a discount, we (atleast i dont) stop to take a look around, so even though i "clicked" it, the marketing efforts were wasted on me..

then again, there are alot of people out there buying alot of junk

I've been assuming that these high cashback levels while somewhat offset by the 60 days that MS can hold onto the money (reliable high-yeild short-term investments? Can you PM me if you know of one? ) are basically a loss-leader to try to drag people away from Google and will drop to more reasonable commissions soon.

Is this lens still for sale? If so I want it.

I'll send you a PM after I get out of class in about 3 hours.
