Do you have any decent photos taken with this lens as for examples? The only one (first photo) doesn't provide much in the way of characteristics. I may be interested depending.

Hi mate,

Definitely interested in buying this, but like Jason, I'll wait for some example shots.

In the meantime though, would you be able to give me an approximate on shipping to Australia? Brisbane, to be specific. Paying via PayPal is not a problem.

Cheers
James

Glad to tell ya that I've got some sample shots. They immediately show my lack of time, as well. (All shot at night, using a flash). I hope they help a little bit, if they don't feel free to ask for specific things. (Blurred highlights in the background for instance, or purple fringeing. I should be able to produce that. Even while it's dark).

So, here are three promised shots...

To display sharpness.......

.... color rendering....

and a general impression...

Keep posted!

Shipping cost for this lens will be:

To Australia (and other large parts of the world) 32.95 EURO.
Within EU somewhere around 25 EURO.
Within Netherlands 6,20 EURO. (I think)
And to Belgium 10 EURO.

Thanks for your attention.

I know it doesn't come with the tripod, but does it come with the collar to mount it to a tripod? I just picked myself up a manfrotto art 144 so I'm set regarding that.

Cheers

The lens can be quite sharp if focused properly. Most of the pictures you've posted look like they've been mis-focused.

A fresh test shot

Taken this morning, @F/8.

No postprocessing whatsoever.

You may be interested in peeking at some other test shots, too... they are in my flickr test shot account

A new information on this sale! bump.

The hood of this lens fits perfectly well on any 77mm filter thread. So if you have a DA*200, for example or a FA*200 and want to keep the original hoods in good condition, this may be the option.

I may even decide to take this thing off the marketplace.

I am interested in this piece. I may come to NL (Amsterdam or Den Helder) the 7th of Jan, but could you provide me the specific postage cost to Helsinki, Finland?
