I will get this thing off the marketplace by the end of the year. If it is not sold then, I'll keep it for a purpose yet to be determined. I'll keep the hood for my FA*200 as a spare.

I'm really stunned. Tell them all how many aperture blades it has again! If I was anywhere near you I'd snap this up in a second.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the suggestion, maybe my remark was not as clear as it should have been.

this lens has 16 (!) aperture blades,

providing for smooth and round bokeh. Sharp background lights will be rendered smoothly and round.

Yeah, shipping cost is not really a good part of the equation....

This lens has been on the marketplace for more than 8 months now.
There were several serious inquiries, however no sale.
I dropped the price to a below-reasonable one, and still the sum of lens plus shipping was too high for friends overseas to bite.

So now I am taking this lens off the marketplace.
Perhaps I will try to sell it somewhere else. Or I will just use the hood for one of my 200mm star lenses. They happen to have the same filter size.

Maybe I will knock burglars out of the house with it.

Maybe I will make one more shot with it, that would make me world famous.

Or maybe not.
