I replied the PM yesterday. As of this morning, the Mamiya/Sekor has been sold to good friend. I suggested to Mark that the Pentax M 50mm f/1.7 is a better lens overall without the need of an adapter. And I often use the M 50 f/1.7 wide open in f/1.7. It is sharper than my FA 50 f/1.4

You're right hin, the Mamiya has nice bokeh. Maybe I'll find one + body on ebay...

Similar to what I recommended to Mark, the buyer of M 50mm f/1.7, I would recommend to pay a bit more for the Pentax 50mm glass as I have not encountered any bad experience with many Pentax 50mm glass. Be it the M/A 50mm f/1.7, or the A/M 50mm f/2.0, they all are excellent 50mm. While the Mamiya is cute in its own right. When I test it wide open in f/1.8, I am not too keen on the sharpness and contrast. M42 still requires the use of M42 adapter and it can be a turn off. But if budget comes into play, that Mamiya is worth the investment if it is in good condition. And the little Mamiya lens, though in 52mm instead of 49mm filter size, has a charming antique look, and one can argue on a cosmetic appeal than the more modern look of Pentax 50mm glass.

I have surprised Mark, buyer of Pentax M 50mm f/1.7, with an extra item as a gift for the purchase -- a matching 49mm lens hood to go with the 50mm. I have thought of adding you a UV filter but I love to surprise good buyer who matches the interest with my gear for sale.

And Mark, this lens hood will serve you well. Though the SMC coating is great to guard against flare, I used this lens hood on all of my 50mm in outing. I seldom use filter to protect the glass but I am a frequent user of lens hood and I feel more confident when the hood is on. This hood can be used on your next 28, 35, 50 that uses 49mm. You have been a very patient buyer and you deserve the extra from your seller. All are packaged and ready for morning shipment as promised.

I have lowered down the price of the Pentax MX body from $45.0 to $29.0. Separately, I have removed the Sigma UC zoom to get the price attractive. I will add in a body cap for the MX body.

Since this MX body is untested, buyers can return within 14 days after delivery in case of issues. Shipping & paypal fee are needed with return.

Thanks,
Hin

I am open to trading idea for the Pentax MX. The added 14 days return policy for the MX body does't get any interested parties. Please let me know what is bothering you from a $29.00 risk free MX. The only catch is the $6.0 shipping fee that you may need to consider.

To all those film lovers, a lunch price for a good looking MX body, which comes with a Pentax body cap.

Thanks,
Hin

MX body is SOLD. Thank you so much to a great buyer with quick decision. Again, since the MX body is untested, I will honor 14 days return policy after delivery with no questions asked.

MX is SOLD and I get a PM about the lens and I happen to have the Sigma UC 28-70 f/3.5-4.5 with 'A' Zoom and Pentax MG body left, similar to Pentax ME Super, that I have and the deal is as follows and is open to everyone. Jodokast96 is first in line.

Possibly interested in this, but won't know for sure until after the weekend. Maybe the lens too it's still available.
If you don't mind, please put in a comment to record the order. Someone asks about the MX before you.

The lens in Sigma UC 28-70 f/3.5-4.5 has 'A' aperture, very useful to be used as a kit's lens. And I have a lens hood to add in to the inexpensive kit's lens for you. It will be $15.00 + shipping. And if you like the lens, I will try to tempt you with an unlisted Pentax MG body. The MG body is fine until I tried to clean up the loose sealing and in the process, I get the focusing screen cleaned with Ghittos optical safe fluid. I will give you the MG as parts for $10.0. So the deal for you are as follows:

Sigma UC 28-70 f/3.5-4.5 in K with 'A': $15
52mm lens hood: $0
Pentax MG for parts (may work perfectly) $10.0
shipping: $8 with tracking
---
total: $33.00 and I give you $3.0 discount further to tempt you in the good weekend
total: $30.0 shipped (no return policy, lens for sure good, body untested, dirty in viewfinder)

I only have one single photo of the Pentax MG
Just the body cap costs me $5.0 with shipping

Pentax MG body with body cap

Sigma UC 28-70 f/3.5-4.5 zoom with 'A' aperture
Free 52mm lens hood added not in picture

Thanks,
Hin

Added new item for Pentax MG + Sigma 28-70 'A' zom

I have added the Pentax MG + Sigma 'A' zoom for the insane sale price of $25.0 and on top of that, I have instrumented the risk free 14 days return policy for the package. Buyer pays return shipping fee for package in same condition, no question asked and I will refund the meager $25.00 value.

The package is $30.0 shipped with USPS and tracking. The Pentax MG body is very similar to Pentax ME super. Please lookup for Pentax MG for information.

Thanks,
Hin

$45 for an MX + lens! My god, that's a steal for such a great camera. People pay twice as much for a K1000 on ebay...

How do you like the Mamiya lens? I'm guessing the Taks are much better, but am curious to know what you think.
I had this Mamiya lens with Mamija DTL 1000 years ago. It is very solid equipment and optical quality of 55/1.8 and 55/1.4 lenses is excellent.
Mamiya Sekor 55/1.8 is as good as an old Pentax SMC 55/1.8 lens.

Thanks to all the great buyers who made quick decisions on the purchase. I will honor the 14 day policy. I just came back from a long weekend trip. I would package, find some goodies to go with each package to make it a totally gratifying package for you two.

@awo045, thanks to the comment on MX and Mamiya, I sold my Mamiya to a good friend of mine, she will love the lens very much.

I will update Qsc and Mark on the tracking number tomorrow morning.

Thanks,
Hin
