Very nice price for the Sigma.

I wonder where all these Sigma 24mm people were when I was debating whether to buy the Sigma 24mm or the 31 Ltd. It just seems like I keep finding Sigma 24s for sale everywhere now, and at these prices, I may have been tempted to forgo the 31 Ltd

Hey Zack. I was moving to a D700. However my financial situation changed this week. So I may go to a 5D for now and upgrade in the near future.

Sorry you couldn't find a 24 for sale then. I hope you are happy with the 31.

I find the 24 the perfect close encounter lens, like parties & restaurants. Its fast, fairly wide without distorting the subject and has a very close minimum focus. Definitely the preferred indoor shooting lens.
