[SOLD] FA*300, Manfrotto tele support, 360FGZ + other flashes

Due to upgrades, I am selling a bunch of gear. The plan is to put them on ebay with BIN for these prices (plus minor ebay fee markup if necessary) for anyone who wants to take advantage of the cashback option. However, just to be fair to everyone I will let them sit here for a few days. If you are interested and want to go through ebay, let me know and I will warn you in advance, so that you can jump on the auction. Everything comes with one week satisfaction guaranteed or your money back (- shipment/fees). [EDIT: Forgot to mention, I accept Paypal with verified address or certified checks only.]

1. Pentax FA*300mm F4.5. Glass just perfect inside and out, minor scuff marks on the hood and barrel. I actually bought this from a board member a couple years back for $1,200, but I got my hands on a DA*300 for a reasonable price, so I'll pass on the savings: $900 shipped CONUS (this is really something you should use the cashback option for, which would bring it down to $700 for a truly mythical Pentax lens). SOLD

2. Manfrotto 3420/ Bogen 293 Tele lens support. This works great for the FA*300, which doesn't have a collar. $50 (plus shipping, but free shipping if bought with the FA*300). SOLD

3. AF 360FGZ flash. Excellent shape, works perfectly and looks new. Comes with pouch and manual pdf on a CD. I have 2 and I just bought a 540. $160 shipped CONUS. SOLD

4. Vivitar 285 HV. Original Japan-made version (not the recent, less reliable type). Manual on CD. I bought this in a batch of flashes on ebay last year, it shows signs of wear (minor scratches and scuffs) but works just great as a slave. These are highly sought after by strobists. Between the 2 Pentax flashes and 2 Sunpaks I have, it's more than enough for me, so off it goes for $60 shipped CONUS. Sale pending

Canon Speedlite 430EZ. Another flash I bought in that batch. Also looks used, minor scuff marks on body and diffuser (the diffuser looks yellow-ish in the pic below, but it's actually nice and white). I used this flash in manual as an optical slave and it works perfectly, but I have not tried any other function or put it on a Canon camera, so if that's how you want to use it, please test it during the guarantee period. Manual on CD. $40 shipped CONUS SOLD

How would you rate this lens in comparison to the DA* 300mm? Is the FA* weather sealed?

I actually haven't had time to try them side-by-side. My first impression is that the DA* is about as sharp as the FA* (which is, VERY sharp), but of course it focuses much faster and it's weather sealed (the FA isn't, to my knowledge, but it has internal focus, so I would expect it to be fairly weather resistant - it won't suck in water or dust). When I had only a K100D, these features obviously made no difference to me, but now I bought a K20D .

Here is a pic with the FA* 300:
