Item Description
This East German camera was made by Pentagon in the early 80's and reminds me a lot of my K-1000.

I finally shot a roll of film though the camera and am waiting for it to be developed. Unfortunately there is a 2 week wait here on film developing.
The shutter, curtain, light meter (you have to pull the little lever on the front to get the light meter reading) and film advance all work.
I shot the Rikenon lens on my K-10D and it is sharp and renders beautifully rich colors.

I will include 2 Px625 batteries with the camera.

What a nice camera it is. I used to have the MTL3 model (almost the same) for a few years and it was very reliable. Good luck with the sale.

My first SLR was a Praktica L, manual everything. I loved it. Nice rugged cameras and good hand feel in my opinion. I agree with Chris K -- mine was reliable as well. To be honest, I think made better images back then, in my mind, than with digital. Having a period camera strap just makes it all the better. Best wishes on the sale! (and free bump to the top)

That stop-down lever/metering switch - right next to shutter release,
and operated by the same finger - makes stopped down metering
almost as fast and convenient as open aperture metering.

IMO it is an ingenious design and AFAIK unique to Praktica.
