I have been buying too much lately, and something has to go. I originally started acquiring Adaptall when I was trying to get a SP 70-210mm f3.5 to compare to my Vivitar Series 1 (v1) and later I was looking for a SP 80-200mm F2.8, but whenever there was an opportunity I didn't have the cash. I just recently got a SMC A 70-210mm in great condition and think I will either keep that or go for a Viv S1 with the 'A' setting.

So, I am selling the following things. Detailed photos of all items are in the following post.

1. Tamron Adaptall SP 1.4x Teleconverter 140F. Price: $90 ***TRADED***

I'm not really sure where to price this as I haven't been able to find that many sales. Two recent sales on Ebay were $100 and $77.

This is in very good condition - there is no brassing or scratches in the finish on the exterior. Even the Quality Control sticker is in perfect condition . There seem to be two small blemishes in the coating on the side facing the lens, but they are very close to the edge of the glass and should not have any impact on IQ.

The TC comes with both front and rear caps.

2. Tamron Adaptall P/KA adapter. Price: $90
I think everyone knows what this is... This adapter has the electrical contacts that allows you to use all Adaptall lenses just like any other lens with an 'A' setting. The adapter is in great condition, and has worked flawlessly for me on my two Adaptall lenses.

There are no caps with this adapter.


3. Tamron Adaptall P/KM adapter. Price: $20 ***SOLD***
Standard adapter that requires you to use Adaptall lenses as manual 'M' lenses.

There are no caps with this adapter.

4. Tamron Adaptall 80-210mm F3.8-4 (103A). Price: $30 ***SOLD***

This is an above average performing zoom for its time, and very well built. Both the zoom and focus are very smooth yet there is no zoom creep. Cosmetically it is in perfect condition - I can find no scratches, nicks or other signs of use anywhere on the exterior of the lens. Optically it has a little dust on some of the interior elements, but nothing that should affect IQ - at least nothing I have seen the few times I have used it.

It's a nice lens, but just not as good as my Viv S1, so really no reason for me to hold on to it. If you buy this and one of the adapters I will knock $10 off the combined price since I will have no use for the lens without the adapters.

This lens comes with a front cap, but no rear cap. Usually you would have the adapter mounted and you would cover the rear with a standard K-mount cap.

I also have a SP 60-300mm lens, but it go a little damaged in shipping, and I haven't been able to fix it 100% yet. There is a little play (1-2mm) in the push/pull zoom action. Since it is not 100% I'll probably just hold onto it until I can find the 2 small plastic parts I need. However if you are interested let me know. I will also be putting up 3 Cokin A filters with 2 filter holders (52 and 55mm). I am also considering selling my M50 1.4, but haven't made my mind up yet, so stay tuned.

The way the light is falling on the next photo makes it look like the matte black paint has been rubbed off, but in fact it is still there. I would imagine that the metal around the rear element of a lens has rubbed against it and flattened the texture a little. The flash is then making it stand out a lot more than it does just looking at it.
