At F/1.2 the DOF is so small that it's not easy to focus correctly.
If your using it at F/1.2 because your shooting avail light, again it's not easy to focus.
Then the DOF issue comes in.
You have such little DOF that DOF control is all you really have.
Finally, the Cosina 55mm 1.2 is avail used quite a bit. And for at least 1/2 the price.
So why buy this lens? Don't know? But why by any well built high quality lens with a super bright viewing aperture and the impeccable SMC coating?
I think the problem is though like the 85mm 1.4 that gets a daily bump, this lens is just too costly for the current market. Last year when 500,000 more people had jobs, and the employed weren't wondering if/when they were going to be unemployed this lens wouldn't have lasted a 2 days!
