[SOLD] Sigma 17-70mm Macro

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Sigma 17-70mm Macro

Asking Price
$325 USD

Item Description
Very good copy of a gently used Sigma 17-70mm DG Macro lens. In excellent condition- no dents or scratches. Has ALWAYS had a filter (usually CP) on it. Glass has NO dust, scratches, fungus, etc.

Comes with approximately $100 in very good quality Hoya filters, a UV/Circ Polarizer AND a 8x Neutral Density. This is the hard to find MACRO version of which B&H and several other retailers are out-of-stock and listing at around $399 w/o filters.

Complete with box, instructions, warranty card, original hood and both lens caps (front and rear).

Recently purchased Sigma 10-20mm and 24-70mm so I need to recoup some expenses for next lens purchase.

Lens still available.

Please note, due to customs and duty, will not ship internationally.

This is a great lens and I'm supprised that there hasn't been alot of intrest in it. I have a 17-70 and it hardly comes off my camera since I got it.

A great lens, I highly recommend it.
Re the customs and duty, I am of the impression that the customs and duty are only a problem to the "receiving" country, not the 'despatching" country.
Then I dont know what other country's customs laws etc. are.
Not complaining just an observation.

Sale Pending.

Thanks for the bumps everybody.

On the topic of customs and duty.. I don't ship alot of things international so maybe I'm not understanding UPS/FedEx costs, but I was asked by a couple of forum members if I'd ship to Canada or Australia. I did some research (online quotes) and "my" cost was quoted around $70 USD compared to $15 USD within CONUS.

Maybe Customs and Duty get their cut on both ends... from shipper and recepient?

That sound's a bit funny. When shipping internationally I never use UPS 'cause they charge way to much for that type of shipping.

I recently shipped some stuff to Canada and AUS and shipping to CAN was like $20 and to AUS was about $30. I used USPS and packed the boxes myself. Granted I was shipping the slowest method possible while still getting a tracking number but those prices are WAY cheaper than you got.

Anyway, best of luck with the pending sale

Thanks for the info, I'm just getting used to this whole bu one lens then sell it so I can buy others affliction. I had a k1000, a 75-300mm zoom, a 50mm kit lens and a 28mm wide angle for almost 30 years before getting my k10.

Who'd have thunk the k10d came with the LBA virus?....LOL
