Vivitar Series 1 105mm f2.5 macro

Item Description
The lens is in mint condition. I am mostly a landscape photog. I want this to be used by someone who loves macro photography.
No mark or scratch or fungus on glass. Aperture blades work smoothly. The lens is fully functional and it takes amazing photos.

I will trade for a DA 21mm or a K10D body.

Good luck with the sale, but I am curious what are the 'labels' on the barrel denoting?

Looks like it was a dental lens with markings for how much magnification is need to shoot certain parts of the mouth and face.

I have this lens too and I absolutely adore it! Excellent peformer, and extremely FUN to use!

Yes, you are right

This is a great lens indeed. The only reason I am parting with it is I am more of a landscape guy. People who do macro would love to have it in there collection. The colors, details - excellent. The series 1 lenses are the best. I feel happy that this would go to a fellow Pentaxian. I have seen one of my photog buddies using Helion Focus post processing with macro shots and the shots look fabulous. Great detail with greater depth of field - best of both worlds
