Item Description
Having recently acquired a K-3 II, I need to move out some older gear that is not being used. This includes (with some reservations) a K-5 IIs body that was my main camera for several years before acquiring a K-3. I purchased this lightly used in December 2016 from the family of a photographer who passed away. The camera has been well cared for and is in excellent condition, with a shutter count of only 4,467 according to the forums check shutter count page:

The body is very clean with no obvious marks, other than a slight scratch on the corner of the base plate just below the remote control socket. Both of the LCD screens are scratch free but there is a spot of dust visible in the optical viewfinder. The firmware has been updated to the latest V1.07 version. Included with the camera are an OEM battery, charger, strap, USB cable, AV cable and all paperwork. The original retail box does show some wear and yellowing. In full disclosure, I believe the original owner may have been a smoker, as there was some remaining odor when I received the camera (appears to have dissipated).
Pricing is based on recent sales of similar items and includes shipping and all fees. I can include an older DA 18-55 lens at no cost if you would like. I may also be able to substitute a different lens as part of a package deal. Please let me know what you may be looking for, as I have several options.
Currently I am only shipping to the USA and normally use priority mail, with appropriate packaging and labeling for shipments containing Li-ion batteries (per USPS publication 52). This includes a DOT-approved UN3481 lithium battery mark attached to the outside of the package. While the requirements indicate small Li-ion batteries are acceptable for air transportation, experience indicates these shipments can take longer than a normal priority mail package to reach their destination.
