Wanted - Acquired: O-ME53 Viewfinder Magnifier

Just wondering if anyone had one of these kicking around (or similar viewfinder magnifier). Would like to give it a try to aid manual focusing, so seeing if there's an unloved one out there before I buy new (especially if someone has one in Canada...)

Well, we can get them from The Camera Store or Henry's but 'special order ' only - no idea how long that would take and it's decently pricey that way... may end up just going that route though, as folks seem to hold on to them...

It looks like The Camera Store in Alberta also has them available but again special order. If you decide to purchase from the USA, both B&H and Adorama have new ones in stock.

Yep, I inquired there to see how long it'd take, they said they'd find out..

Leo's Camera in Vancouver can get them. I've bought two from them and they have a couple more on order for me. (They are still available new from Pentax Canada)

Prices at US retailers seem to have gone up quite a bit since I bought my last one.

In the end, I decided to get Miguel's, but if anyone is interested in buying new in Canada, The Camera Store seems to be the best price, however it looks like it won't be here anytime soon when I asked them about it... and probably the same wait as any other Canadian Pentax retailer...
