For Sale - Sold: Sigma 70-300, free to someone who needs it!

That's right, free, as in zero dollars - I got this thrown in as a gift from another purchase from Normhead, and have decided it's time to pass on the favour as it's sitting unused on my shelf. The zoom only zooms in, so you have to physically push it back in to zoom out, and the hood's repaired with some tape. Possibly some other issues too, but you can't complain about it at this price

Ideally, I'd like this to go to someone relatively new to photography and without anything in this sort of range, an aspiring young (or old!) wildlife photographer maybe... If you think you fit that description, send me a PM, and if you cover the shipping, it'll be right on it's way to you. All I ask is that maybe sometime in the future you also pass on the favour to someone else...

Also, have I mentioned that I took my favourite dragonfly shot with this lens?

That is a great lens too! I have one and it is good as is and a 1.4x converter gives it nice reach too.
Super nice offer to someone who will use it and is just starting out!

A very commendable offer on your part. Hopefully a deserving amateur will come forward and put this lens to good use. I had a similar Quantaray version as my first long reach lens and was able to capture some excellent shots.

Hi, Brooklyn Bridge Restoration.
Scaffolding on Masonary Middle Towers,
I built fireplaces and gardens once,
Studied Gothic vaults,
Hung sheetrock in St. John The Divine,
Didn't get to work on the unfinished towers.
Your lens would get me closer to
the Towers of my Youth,
