Auto Sears 105mm f/2.8 M42 (RARE)

Here we have a very rare, M42 mount Auto Sears 105mm f/2.8 Prime. In fact, the one I own is the only one I've ever heard of, much less seen for sale or otherwise.

Lens is in great shape, with minimal brassing, no marks on the glass, no oil on the 8 aperture blades, minimal internal dust. Truly wonderful and absolutely no disappointments here.

The price may seem high for a Sears branded lens, but trust me it isn't. The sharpness is good and the bokeh is better, but the colors are amazing. Besides, it's cool to own a lens nobody else has.

I'd compare this lens with any of the Takumar versions of this same focal length and speed, all day long. At the bottom of the page there's a sample shot I took. 100% Crop with absolutely no editing besides the crop and save. Not sure of the aperture, but the heron was about 50ft away, maybe more.
