Attached a few photos of the body. And the original accessories/box/manual. I'm also including the rest of the screen protectors (3 were included and it still has on the original).

The body also sync's up to 1/180s with the fleabay triggers and Nikon SB28 flashes. Some K10Ds don't sync that fast.
There is no crack on the bottom of the grip that some K10Ds have.

Need to sell this to get a K20D so make an offer :-)

Sorry about the dust on the images..I wiped it down w/ a swiffer cloth and this dust wasn't visible to the naked eye but seems to be visible to another camera

Also checked a PEF file w/ PhotoMe and the #clicks is 3858. The file number is IMGP3543.PEF. Pentax tests it at the factory for 200-250 clicks before sending it out and setting the file number to IMGP0100.PEF. Sorry about the mistake.

Those two links are impressive

WOW! Hopefully, the K200D is the same way.

I think the K200D is but the K2000/K-m is definitely not...they had to cut too much costs. For the cost of used K10D's nowadays, buying a new K200D isn't worth it IMHO...

On a different tact...anyone want to trade a lens for a backup K10D body?
Get rid of one of your rarely used lens so you can have a backup body?
E.g., an old FA35/2 or Tamron Adaptall 300/2.8?

This is terrible - I wanted to get a K200D as a second body, but now I am torn that I should get one of these used 10Ds instead!!

What would be the advantages/disadvantages? Batteries (+K200D), viewfinder, buffer, a few more direct functions (+K10D). Does the 200D have updated processing? Anything else?

Told you these used K10D's are a much better deal

For batteries, I'd say the K10D is better but I'm a lithium fan because you don't need to charge them much (I end up using one for an entire week long vacation, though I do carry one spare w/o the charger). The front dial is one other big feature I find useful. You can also upgrade between the K10D and K20D and keep accessories like arca swiss plates and battery grips because the bodies are the same. You'll also have better resale value because the K10D is already depreciated.

This is also on fleabay in case people want to use the 30% cashback to get it for $322 delivered: item number is 150313300899
Got some interest on craigslist, so hopefully, it'll go that way instead to save the hassle...

Looks like I'm selling this to a local person who's going to pick it up later today.
It's a bit less than this so I don't have to pick up shipping, but at least now we have another person in the Pentax flock ;-)

You should inform him about this forum, too! So he will be a real new sheep in the herd!

I will. I told him about KEH because he wanted a kit lens and he used their used K10D prices against me in the negotiation...LOL. A true frugal Pentaxian...

The guy came by and picked it up as planned. Turned out he's been layed off and he's taking a 4 month trip to India and Europe (he has friends he can stay with so he won't have to pay the rent he'd have to pay here).
Unfortunately, it looks like my timing is crappy as usual...the MS Live cashback has pulled back to 20% just in time...guess I should have bought a K20D before selling..LOL. Oh well...I don't have any vacations planned, so I can wait to see what the K30D looks like.
