Updated: I re-did the lettering on the wooden mode dial in white to increase visibility. I also crafted a custom Arca-Swiss style tripod plate with an integrated wooden grip extender/pinky rest. The top of the wood is flocked in felt to create a soft and secure connection with the bottom of the camera, and I installed a registration post to ensure that it is always aligned when attaching to the camera and that it does not shift around.
