I have a Kiron made Vivitar 70-150mm f3.8 M42 Zoom Lens with matching 2x teleconverter for sale.

This is a constant aperature f3.8 zoom lens so it is relatively fast. It has a M42 mount so all you need is an adapter to use with your K mount camera. It is easy to use and will even function under your camera's Av mode! It has a built in slide-out hood so nothing to get in the way. It has the standard auto/manual lever. It takes very sharp and well saturated pictures. It has a macro mode which takes close ups quite well (see photo of phone button).

Cosmetically, it is in good shape except for two slight issues: 1. It does have a couple of really small scratches on the front element (I have not noticed any IQ degradation from it though). 2. The hood has a very small ding, but it does not keep it from retracting. Otherwise, the lens is in perfect shape. Blades are snappy and oil free. Glass is extremely clear and dust free. Aperature ring clicks solidly and the focus is smooth.

It comes with the special matching 2x teleconverter which takes this lens to a 150-300mm lens. The IQ is not bad even with a teleconverter (this one is designed for this lens although it seems to work fine even with other M42 lenses). The teleconverter is in mint condition.

Also included are 1 set of caps (front and rear). The front cap is a special 52mm 1984 Olympics commemorative cap (Canon)

(Linear Polarizers work perfectly fine with Pentax Autofocus cameras. I have sold many of them and haven't had any complaints. Plus I have tested them with my own K100d, K10d and K20d never had any problems.)

You don't say? That's interesting. (It'd be *more* interesting if I still had my big linear polarizer.
