Item Description
I never particularly liked this focal length, so had this lens up for sale. I also didn't have any sample shots with the lens, so I went out to take some. Much to my dismay I found it was horribly decentred! I'm not sure how it happened, as I've never dropped it or thrown it around, but I guess sometimes these things happen

It's in good condition physically - maybe the mount could be useful for someone?

Optically it's not so good...

That's not to say that you can't take photos if you're aware of it and work around. Here's one from today, you get a bit of a "toy lens" effect around the edge:

I would suggest having a go at removing and assembling the elements from scratch. It could bring it back from the brink.

The experience could be worth the $30 for you

I considered that - but I'm pretty busy with work right now, so it'd be sitting for months untouched... and knowing my luck, it would end up worse off!

And sold to someone who's planning on having a go at repair themselves
