This lens is in excellent condition, other than paint scuffing on the rotation collar, and I have had LensCoat coverings on it since I bought it used in 2012. The only drawback of this lens is the finish, being silver paint over black undercoat, paint scuffing is very evident. If you are fussy you could always cover the collar with a self-sticking camo strip from LensCoat, or re-paint the collar 😊. I always want my lenses to work, not look pretty 😊.
It is an excellent performer as evidenced by the Pentax Forum Lens Reviews.

It comes with original end caps, a 77mm B+W L-Pro Skylight filter ($40 dollar value) and a LensCoat Forest Green Camo cover set ($80 Value) and a black neoprene LensCoat Lens Pouch ($18 value).
I recently purchased a HD PENTAX-D FA 150-450mm F4.5-5.6 ED DC AW that I will use as my go-to for mid/long telephoto work alongside my HD PENTAX-DA 560mm F5.6 ED AW DC
