Selling my Sigma Bigma 50-500 DG APO HSM OS superzoom lens.
In overall good condition, body does show wear as pictured, particularly around the tripod foot.
Glass is clean, but as seems to be common with these superzooms, there is some dust visible internally, although I've not found it to have any impact on pictures.
In my experience with this lens the AF can sometimes hunt and miss focus. I've found keeping all the contacts clean (I use an eraser) helps, but as such I'm reflecting this by listing for a lower amount than these normally sell for.
See attached samples (all autofocused!) pics taken with K-1ii and KP - as the upload reduces detail I'm happy to email large sample files to anyone interested. The one of my dog is at 500mm hand held with a crop in on his nose. On my monitor the 500mm shot of the house on the hill I can make out the satellite TV provider name on the dish.
Includes padded case, both hoods (normal and APS extension), filter step down ring, and has a 95mm Sigma UV filer.
