Item Description
For sale is Pentax K200D MONOCHROME converted camera. Price in euros. Potentially only one is existing in the world.
Conversion is done by me. The sensor has no Bayer Color Filter Array (CFA), camera produces MONOCHROME only pictures and practically has increased resolution (at least 2 times: better than K-1 in crop mode of 15 Mpix without anti-aliasing filter) and light sensitivity by about 2/3-1 stop, as well as better noise profile due to absence of chroma noise.
Bayer should convert DNG files with additional software Monochrome2DNG converter (sold separately, 27.99 euros) to get whole advantage of increased resolution. But typical processing of DNG files is also possible with perceptible increase in sharpness compared to original camera variant.
Pentax K200D MONOCHROME has shutter count about 16000. Focus confirmation works properly with manual and autofocus lenses and can be adjusted on demand using Debug Mode (I can provide file and instructions to the buyer).
Sensor has some amount of very small scratches due to mechanical Bayer CFA removal. They can be visible on magnified pictures but can be easily removed in Photoshop using one-click Actions prepared by me (I provide files to the buyer). Examples with scratches and without them are displayed.
Some pictures shot with this camera are shown, they are postprocessed on my taste.
For more pictures please ask personally. I can provide DNG files to potential buyer for deeper analysis.
Camera looks in very good used condition. All functionality is retained including IBIS / SR.

I know the seller through another forum; he is going to modify one of my cameras as further proof-of-concept.

I can't believe he hasn't sold this camera yet. He has been posting a lot of samples, and they are outstanding - the debayered sensor punches well above its weight. He modified another camera for a friend of mine, and my friend is very happy.
