I’ll probably regret this, but I’ve been satisfied with the DA 12-24 enough to say goodbye to this faithful lens.

There is a rub: the aperture blades are slow. I have not had the lens diagnosed, but it could well be old oil. I assume cleaning costs would run about $65, but some folks are comfortable with DYI. I have not done anything to the lens except take pictures.
Otherwise, the optics are excellent and the body is very good--some worn paint exists on metal aperture ring.

I am also open to trading this for a Lowepro Fastpack 350 AW bag in excellent condition.
Comes with a 52-->55mm step up ring so I can use a favorite sturdy lens cap (included) along with rear cap.

Actually I better not. But it seems like a great deal for someone. My bet would be the aperture mechanism is binding a bit. I'd take off the mount and see if the slowness disappears. I could be wrong; I've never seen one in real life.
