[SOLD] The Ultimate Vivitar Series 1 105mm Macro Kit

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
The Ultimate Vivitar Series 1 105mm Macro Kit

Asking Price
$600

Item Description
I am selling all my macro gear! In this sale there is the legendary Vivitar Macro Series 1 105mm in MINT condition, box, papers, everything.

I am also including a brand new Wirelessly Triggered Macro Twin Flash Combo for DSLR / SLR by Gadget Infinity. The kit is unused, I only onboxed it to mount it and to take pictures of it.

I am also including the Velbon Super Mag Slider Macro Rail. This is a key element IMO for getting super sharp images, the ability to move the minute amounts w/o having to readjust the tripod is huge saver of time and aggrivation.

I am also including a full set of Vivitar extension tubes.

Please PM me if interested.

I am amazed at lack of interest. I have this lens, and, IMHO, this is possibly among the best Macro lens you can get your hands on.
Highly recommend it to any wavering potential buyer.

Thanks Bruce, I am kinda shocked too, but if I still have it come Spring time, I won't be that upset that it didn't sell.

It hasn't sold because Ben K hasn't spotted the "Holga" name.
Frankly this is an awesome macro kit!

I also have this lens and it is superb glass. I'm surprised it is for sale as they don't make them any longer. Dave

A true light kit is not complete if it doesnt have a HOLGA component.

I am sorta torn about selling it, while it is superb glass, I rarely use it, but the same can also be said about my DA*300mm, but I am not ready to sell that lens either, so who knows, maybe I am destined to keep this kit. I think that if it doesn't sell this week I am going ot keep it. Spring will be here before you know it and I am gonna be missing it most likely.

Simply superb lens, and this kit is well priced. It's just the economy, everybody's watching the dollars (and Euros, etc) these days...

Some snapshots from this lens (Hope you don't mind Buddha!)

I too absolutely adore this lens! Though I must admit, I have very little patience for tripod work...

Handholding at 1:1 magnification may not be the easiest thing in the world to do, but I've had quite a bit of success with the Vivitar and I don't think I honestly don't think I could ever see myself parting ways with it.
