I've put down a deposit on the new K-3iii Monochrome so I need to move my K-3 mono on to a new home. I'm including my DA 40mm f/2.8 Limited HD lens in the sale. This would make a great, compact street shooting combination and would be equally useful for any B & W photography. I've had wonderful results from this camera and I've included a couple of SOOC jpgs (only change was to resize the image) to show what this camera is capable of.
This body was converted to B & W by forum member Medex and I bought it directly from him. I bought the lens brand new here in Australia. In the interests of full disclosure the sensor was disassembled and cleaned and reassembled by a local repair shop last year. All the camera functions work as they should. The body is in excellent shape apart from a small rub mark on one edge that has no effect on your photo's (shown in picture). I don't have the box or paperwork. The camera comes with a third party battery which has worked well for the time I've had the camera. Shutter count is 22,215 so it's barely broken in and should have years of life left in it.
I have a charger and can supply a cable for an Australian buyer if it's needed but overseas buyers will probably already have their own appropriate cable.
What's in the photo's is what's included in the sale.
The lens is in as new condition with no fungus, oily aperture blades etc and it works exactly as it should. The correct hood and caps are included as well as the pouch, box and paperwork
At this stage I'd rather sell the camera and lens as a bundle and not split them.
Cost is $AUD 1,100 if using Paypal. Aussie buyers can pay by EFT and I'll take $50 off the price if you choose that option. Postage is at cost by whatever method the buyer chooses. Please contact me for a shipping quote.
