Item Description
Pentax KS-2 body. Color white. The camera is in very good condition. Comes only with a Pentax charger and battery, camera strap. No operating manual is included, if needed buyer will have to order or download one from Ricoh, or purchase the excellent KS-2 E-book from the forum.
The aperture block did fail but has been repaired and the camera is working fine. The shutter count is 9,597 and one of the photos attached below was used for the shutter count (was the last photo taken with the camera).

No, I don't know which solenoid was used. I just sent it off and it came back working great. Shortly after that, I got my first KP.

Also, I just reduced the price to $225.00

Who did the repair? Was the solenoid replaced or was the solenoid sanded down ( the alternative to replacement). I’m looking for a backup for my K-70. What is the overall condition of the unit and what is included?

The solenoid was repaired by a private party. See the link below for further information. I do not know how the repair was done, I had assumed it was a solenoid that was replaced. I didn't know at the time it could be sanded down or replaced.
