Item Description
Pentax KP body, SN# 7302497. This is the second of two KP’s I am selling. I purchased a K3 mk3 and decided I didn’t need the extra cameras. It will ship with a Pentax charger & battery, and a camera strap. There is no box or operating manual. The camera is in excellent shape, except for the pop-up flash. I very seldom use a flash but noticed a crack in the flash mount part of the camera body. I wanted to maintain the weather resistance of the camera so I repaired the damage with epoxy glue which did seal it up but the flash will no longer pop up and a mounted flash will not work as P-TTL. A manual flash can be mounted and flash output is managed manually on the flash unit. This was tested using Godox Flash.
I shoot mostly outdoor landscaping photos, so not having a flash was OK. Later I purchased another KP when Adorama had a sell. As long as you don’t need a flash, it takes beautiful photos.
