[SOLD] FA* 80-200mm F2.8 - MINT w/pictures

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
FA* 80-200/2.8 - MINT w/pictures

Asking Price
$1,850

Item Description
This maybe the finest FA* 80-200/2.8 available anywhere

It's in MINT condition. I mean MINT ! It does not look like it's ever been used. I took it out (carefully) for a shoot, and IQ is fantastic.

It comes in the original box, with papers, (never used) shoulder pouch.

I'll consider trade with;
FA* 200/4 (will entertain any offer)
FA* 300/2.8 (will entertain any offer)
DA* 50-135 + $1,100

The weight is the reason I'm selling it. I have a bad left wrist, and it puts too much stress on it. I didn't think it would be a big deal, but it has turned out to be a deal breaker

Thanks for consideration.

I have had the good fortune to see Sam's lens in person. I was absolutely amazed that is is brand new. If I had the $$$ I would jump on this in a heartbeat! It is soooo clean and sweeet. A hard to find lens in mint condition. It is a beauty!

Dealing with Sam is definitely a pleasure.

I definitely understand wrist issues as I have issues with my right wrist. That is one nice looking lens, though.

Thank you LaRee and Heather.

It's a great lens, as I mentioned in the post it's just too heavy for me. I guess a lot of Canon users would laugh at me with their monstrous lenses... But, I'm used to the likes of 21, & 43

... and now this sweet LX.

Wow! It's probably the cleanest FA80-200 I've even seen...

Just a reminder - no public commenting on pricing in the Marketplace. As long as the seller provides as much information and as many photos as possible, he should be in good shape.

Wow, beautiful lens. Makes me wish I had picked one up years ago when I was still in Tokyo; lots of disposable income at the time....

Guess I'll have to be happy with my 50-135!

FWIW, I have that lens and it is far sharper than the Sigma version which I had and sold when I compared the two side by side.

Bump for a great forum member and an awesome lens!
It's worth every penny. It will be the last K-mount lens that I ever part with.
I don't think you could buy from a better person either. Sorry to hear about the wrist Sam and that you have to let this gem go.

Free bump for great lens!

This is a wonderful lens.
One of the best lens I've ever had.
Someone who appreciates quality picture should get this one right away.

I have one and won't sell it unless I can't use it anymore (like physical condition or financial).
Free bump for great lens.

Thank you guys for the compliments.

I've had several offers of the trade, but none good enough for the straight sale. I've told everyone I will make a decision by Sunday, so if you want to make an offer it's time to do it now.

The lens is fantastic, as you can see in the pictures.

If I were a professional, I think I'd buy that right now. I want it because it's beautiful, but I have no reason owning something that majestic with such mediocre skills.

Amazing lens and good luck to you Sam!
