Those ''from the park'' pictures no1 and no2 made me think of encounters in the ''wild''. You know, when I am very lucky I see a rabbit or a squirrel. And BANG there was that tiger.

Nice park, is all I can say!
Thanks

Actually the first two birds shots were from our Botanic Garden, where we go a lot 'cause the kids love that place.

The other two were from our Zoo which we got family member card, we can go there anytime we like

Frank,

Visited Singapore a few years ago, and I remember the big Botanical garden. Indeed a beautiful place. I specially remember the Orchid Gardens.

Side note: FA*28-70/2.8 and FA*80-200/2.8 makes one bad ass combo. I too love this combo and carry it most everywhere. Potential buyers--just look at that creamy bokeh. Hard to believe the sharpness and bokeh came from a zoom lens! FA* and Ltd. lenses rock!

Quit dragging your feet and buy this lens. You won't regret it! (though Frank might someday if his copy got stolen or broken or something).

Oh yeah, it's a very beautiful place. Still remember the first day when I brought my newly bought *istD and an FA100/2.8 macro to the Orchid Garden 4.5 years back. What an experience ...

Thanks Ron I guess not everybody appreciates these FA* lenses as much as we do. The FA*2870 is kinda of my go-to lens, wherever we go, I'd bring that one along, most time. And if we are going to the Parks, usually I'd lug the 80-200 along. They've helped me record so many good memories w/ my kids, well worth the money I paid for them.

If mine got stolen or broken, I'd sure go and buy another copy in no time

Good things don't last long, especially w/ reasonable price tags. The lens is currently reserved by my good friend back in my home country (Beijing, China)
