I bought a wrong set of lens and hence I reserved it first for my friend in the forum. Here are the pictures of product shots

Do you know if these work on more modern (AF) Minolta film bodies?

I wish I know, all that I know is that all those two lens and two TC are with M/SR mount. And I jump the gun seeing SR thinking the seller using SR to refer to Pentax. It is the LBA bugs that turn my eyes and senses view all things Pentax in the ebay world.

I am waiting for LuvMyPentax forum member to seal the deal as he has shown interest and likely to make the bargain purchase.

Thanks,
Hin

If I didn't own both in pentax I might be interested, but...

I have a question on the 28mm, and this is just curiosity.

I bought one in M42 mount on the weekend (sorry not interested in yours) and it has 62mm filter not 67mm.

any idea on how many varients? My lens starts with 2200 serial number so it is quite early.

I had a K version before and I think it is 67mm and here is a shot of my K version. Perhaps, your version is older in M42 mount.

I like the Kiron on its build and the focusing ring is one of the finest for manual focusing as I recall. The lens does have flare, so I will suggest investment on a lens hood. I don't do comparison shots between this Kiron 28mm and that of Pentax M 28mm f/2.8, my preference goes straight to the Kiron as I like lens with bigger lens barrel for those nice firm grip on the barrel for one to fine tune focusing with ease of control.

The Pentax M is good but I like the Kiron but with the noted caveat on flare control and I sometime find the bokeh busy in certain shots and I don't know if it is due to busy ringed lights as a result of flare.

Thanks,
Hin
