[SOLD] Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 135mm f2.5

PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing

Item for Sale
Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 135mm f2.5

Asking Price
$150

Item Description
Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 135mm f2.5 in excellent condition. Would be Like New condition if I had original packaging.

SN: 5678974

Asking $150 plus shipping.

Immaculate in just about every way you can imagine. No dust inside, no scratches anywhere. Just beautiful. It's difficult to sell this lens, but I need to move on to other lenses, especially because I have way too much redundancy at this focal length.

The only thing that I would mention is that the focus ring is a little tighter (more damped) than some of my other Takumars.

Includes genuine front and rear caps and leather case (not shown).

Unfortunately I have to pass since I just bought three Taks tonight and blew my budget.

This is a very, very nice lens folks...

Just wanted to inform everyone that the lens is still availble, if you didn't get that from the previous post.

Also, here's a set on flickr that are the results of this lens almost exclusively (all but the wide angle shots)...it's very nice

Those are some great shots with a mf lens. How do you manage to manual focus the action shots in time. Especially when the focusing ring is dampened?

Thanks!

I won't lie, an mf lens for fast action sports is a challenge, but that's what makes it fun! I played that game, Ultimate [Frisbee], for several years so I understand the movement of the game and can usually predict what will happen. And practice with manual focusing definitely helps. And when the subject distance is 10 or 20m away then you don't have to make huge changes in rotating the focus ring in order to obtain sharp focus. I was shooting most of those at f/3.5 and some at f/2.5, so the DOF was definitely punishing when the players were closer.
