Well, I for one am glad to see the Vivitar has finally turned into a race, after lacking the love from buyers yesterday.

Also, could it possibly be that in post #26, 3rd picture, Jay offered us an image that while technically fine is not a otherworldly incarnation of the harmony of the spheres reflected in color and line? Say it ain't so! Or maybe I'm not "getting" it. There are repeated circles. I guess that's "harmony of the spheres"...

Jay, I love your stuff.

I think post '26' is just shots of the A 50 F2... not quite an other worldly lens, unless of course Jay is shooting with it...

My point exactly. Look at the magic he does in the first 2 shots (especially first) with that lens.

Thanks, the first shot is a bit of a crop, but the A 50 f/2 is a worthy lens. I think it's on its way across the country with it's 135mm companion tomorrow afternoon, though
