UPDATE: everything is sold now, thanks so much for the interest, comments and PMs folks.

Funds tend to deplete. I hate that about funds. When that happens, I need to
sell stuff I wanted to keep. That makes me feel bad, but then it makes me feel
good later.
(Can you tell I've been explaining things to my toddler a lot?)
Note: shipping will be extra, but actual shipping charges only.
Pentax M 135 f/3.5 $40
It's been so good to me - my first 135mm! But again, my Taks have this
covered. A long-portrait classic, mid-telephoto street shooter that never fails to
disappoint. Small, light, IQ that makes you swear off zooms.
Pentax A 50mm f/2 $20
In very, very good shape - except for dented filter ring. A fast prime with the
A-setting. The only problem with this lens is that it will make you throw your
kit lens away once you start seeing that sharpness and getting used to having
f/2 available at 50mm vs. f/5.6.
Vivitar (Komine) 28 f/2.8 Close Focus ("K2" in rparmar's pantheon)
$50 (SALE PENDING)
I really, really hate to let this go, but I'm just not using it enough. Robin
(rparmar) has categorized all the Vivitar 28's, and he's happened to label this
one "K2". I like that label, because I think this represents the
summit of
all Vivitar 28's (Get it? Groan... sorry.)
This is a 28mm with corrections for close-focus, very good multicoating, and
extreme sharpness. I consider this a casual-macro 28mm lens. I love it, but if
you love something, as they say, set it free.
UPDATE: Buy the
M 135 f/3.5 or
Vivitar/Komine 28 2.8 Close Focus and I'll throw the
A 50 f/2 in for an additional $10, if you so desire.
The A 50 f/2 is in exceptional shape except for that filter ding.
Pentax M 50 f/1.7 (in original box)
$40
One of the highest rated 50's from any manufacturer, and sharp-sharp-sharp
wide-open, with Monet-style bokeh. This one comes with the original box (if you
want it,) something I have not seen anywhere else yet.
Pentax A 50mm f/2.8 Macro $155 (SALE PENDING)
This, the FA 50 2.8 macro and the A* 200 macro have been called Pentax's
sharpest lenses. A true casual-macro champion with scintillating color and
contrast, and that
sharpness. Handheld 1:2 macro is very easy with this -
it's relatively small and light. I would ask more, but there is some paint chipping
off the barrel below the distance indicators (not atypical of the A-series,) so the
cosmetic defect drops the price. (again, lucky you.)
Jupiter-9 85mm f/2 (M42)
SOLD
The legendary J-9. This copy's aperture ring clicks like a swiss watch, focus action
is silky and well dampened, lens is shiny and newish. There is a bit of oil on the
aperture blades, which isn't out of the ordinary for this lens and doesn't affect
the function of the blades or IQ in any way, but it knocks the resale value down
from $150 to $95 (lucky you
).
(An 85mm f/2 for ninety-five bucks. Just wanted to reiterate that. )
Pentax M 50 1.4
SOLD
Hate to see this one go, but I've got 50 1.4 covered in Tak. DOF/bokeh magic
can be worked with this beauty. Sharper wide-open than the FA 50 1.4 version.
Easier to nail focus at f/1.4 than any other f/1.4 lens I've ever shot (much easier
than my Nokton for some reason.)
Pentax M 200 f/4
SOLD
If you've ever shot with the 50-200 kit lens, try this one out to see what kind of
bokeh a telephoto prime can give you with f/4 @ 200mm. This lens is small, light,
and so easy to throw in the pack when you think you just might need some real
telephoto.
Sharp telephoto.
Pentax M 75-150 f/4 (near mint)
SOLD
Those that have or once had this lens will tell you what it can bring - sharpness
& contrast from 75-150mm in a lens not much bigger than the small M 200 f/4.
This lens was considered proof that Pentax could build quality zooms to rival
primes in everyday usage. It has a built in sliding hood, which I love. If you
want a high-quality, versatile zoom but don't want to spring for (or lug around)
the DA* 50-135, consider this one.
Vivitar (Kiron) 70-205 f/3.8
SOLD
A Kiron-made sharpshooter in exceptional shape (wife says it's "pretty"
) that
gets you near to Tamron/Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 IQ territory at 1/20th the cost. This
lens is a bit heavy, but that's because you're buying a lot of good metal and
glass.
I'll have photos of and by each lens up by the end of the weekend, and you can
buy conditional to seeing photos of the lens first if you wish.
