[SOLD] 3x Pentax 50mm/1.7 (2x A, 1x F)

I have 3 nifty 50's for sale; 2x Pentax-A 50mm 1:1.7 and a Pentax-F 50mm 1:1.7

All lenses are in EX+ condition with no flaws in the glass, blades etc. The A's both have perfectly smooth manual focus and I really can't tell the difference between them in condition. The F is in amazingly good condition with barely a mark to the body and in perfect working order. All lenses will come with a UV filter.

Asking Prices

$65ea shipped CONUS for a Pentax-A 1 SOLD
$145 shipped CONUS for the Pentax-F SOLD

I can provide further individual pictures on request.

to answer your question wally, and this is just my 2 cents.....some honestly think the 1.7 is a better performer than the 1.4 wide open. Of course, if you need the 1.4, then its a no brainer for a choice. but if the 1.7 has better sharpness, contrast, and color @f/1.7 than the 1.4 @f/1.4-1.7, then many may consider the f/1.7 as equal or more valuable. i've been considering the 1.7 myself actually. anyone know the difference between the F and the FA version?

side note, i've owned the fa 1.4 and it is indeed very sloppy wide open. very soft, but once it hits f/2.0, watch out!

Prices reduced for a (hopefully) quick sale.

Make a reasonable offer if you think that the prices are too high.

The only differences between F and FA, as far as I can tell, are cosmetics and the fact that an FA lens can transfer MTF info. That's it.
