I just added to the lens sale an extremely rare 52mm Lens Hood made for the 50mm f/1.2 in Brand New Mint Condition.
Lens hood comes in a Leather Case. See photo. Look at description on the lens hood.

This is a very nice lens if you're after very shallow DoF or want to shoot in very low light. Mike's sample seems to be in near mint condition, too. K lenses in general have an exceptional build, but I think they put some extra love into the 50/1.2. I only sold mine because I bought the A version (same optical formula).

As a side note, Pentax claimed they were the first to produce a 50mm f/1.2 lens, and this lens was it.

I rarely post fanboy type comments, but these are incredibly nice product and sample shots. Getting the marble in focus from inside the lens isn't easy.

As a side note, I own this lens. Despite rumors that its a little soft wide open - it's not. It really has to do with getting the depth of field precisely right. It is a very capable lens in the right hands, as it is with this gentleman here.

Lets see, an M 50mm f1.4 and another M 50mm f1.7 that I don't utilize much, and an FA 50mm f1.4 on order, I still need this.

On the 'flip' side, I am glad it is out of my reach, at least for now. So a free bump to what I've heard of but never even laid my hands on, one of the finest primes ever made.

oh no, I could never sell the mug. My son hand painted that mug at one of those ceramic shops to give to me for a Father's Day Present. It's priceless!
