Whats the most weight have you put on it? I want to use it with my Sigma 150-500 on my monopod. I want to make sure it dosen't move while trying to shoot and move the pod. The one I have seems to move no matter how tight I put it. I guess the K20d with the battery grip and the heavy lens arn't made for a cheap Head.

Thanks
Jack

I just did a quick hunt around. Its rated to a max. load of 16.5lbs and weighs 4lbs.

Thanks

Thanks to David for the specs.
I have used ~8lbs total load without any problem. I bought this head after seeing my LF and MF buddies using this on the field with there set ups. Mirror slap of the camera does not destabilize it in the studio. I did not hear the field guys complaining about that either. I have used it on a heavy tripod and found the set up to be solid. Hope Jack finds this information useful.

I used one of these (older, Bogen version, but the same thing)on a super heavy duty tripod with my LF camera. It's a wood field type Burke & James 5X7 with a 4X5 back. It's rock solid once you lock it up and smooth operating if you keep it just loose.

I second calicojack's opinion that this Manfrotto head on a sturdy tripod is rock solid.
