[SOLD] smc Pentax M Primes, S-M-C Primes, THE Series 1 70~210 Zoom, Viv MFTC and more

*** 3 available Items off to eBay ***

Thank you to all, buyers and inquirers! This is a wonderful group!!

Condition of optics and operation for all items is Excellent unless otherwise stated - clean, clear glass, oil-free blades, snappy apertures that click solidly. All items come with genuine OEM Pentax or Vivitar caps and hoods if shown. Cosmetic condition is described for each item; VG to Exc+.

To inquire about or purchase an item, please post a PM message to the thread and please PM me with your interest.

All prices are Firm. The PRICE includes USPS Priority Mail Shipping, Insurance and Fees.
USA Domestic - International Buyers PM for actual shipping charges.

2) [AVAILABLE] smc PENTAX-M 1:1.7 50mm Exc+ $50 shipping, insurance and fees included[AVAILABLE]
Glass is crystal clear, cosmetics are better than the photos (dust on barrel). I'm only selling this because I have 5 50's so this has to go.
5)
[AVAILABLE] Asahi Pentax Super Takumar 1:4 200 mm Exc- $50 shipping, insurance and fees included [AVAILABLE]
w/ hood, generic rear cap, Canon filter. Barrel shows some use with small ticks on the focusing ring high points and paint rubbed off the Auto/Manual switch edges, but the glass is excellent and this takes beautiful photos. I have the K version so this is superfluous.
10)
[AVAILABLE] Vivitar 2x Macro Focusing Teleconverter MC P/K-A R-P/K Exc+ $55 [SALE PENDING] shipping, insurance and fees included
The classic, flexible, focusing TC, with A contacts for metering through the TC
[AVAILABLE]

1)
smc PENTAX-M 1:2.8 40mm VG gen front cap; brassing on aperture ring $75 [SOLD]

3) smc PENTAX-F ZOOM 1:3.5-4.5 35-70 mm Exc $50 shipping, insurance and fees included [SOLD]
4) Asahi Pentax Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 1:3.5 135 mm VG perfect glass $40 [SOLD] shipping, ins. and fees included
6) "Cult Classic" Vivitar Series 1 ZOOM P/K-A 1:2.8~4 70~210 mm v.3 [withdrawn] shipping, ins. & fees incl.
Serial #28537xxx (Komine) Exc+ condition in OEM case, correct caps, tight focus ring with no Zoom Creep (see photos). Amazingly, no issues at all for a 27 year old lens. You'll not find another this nice! I always wanted to know what made this lens a Cult Classic - so I bought this here about a year ago. Now that I know, I'd love to just put it away and use it when it strikes my fancy - but I made the LBA pledge, so YOU get to try it out.
7) 62mm Sigma Achromatic Macro (Close-up) lens [withdrawn] shipping, ins. & fees incl.
(2 lens elements; reduced chromatic aberration and fringing compared to single element Close-up lenses) used with above Series 1 zoom (1cm scratch on edge of glass, out of image area). Allows very close focus with the Viv S1 - and keeps a nice, sharp image.
8) Pentax REAR CONVERTER K T6-2X Mint in case $30 [SOLD] shipping, insurance and fees included
I don't think this was ever used before I owned it. I have mounted it twice with the K200/4.
9) Pentax Manual Extension Tube Set K 9.5, 19, 28.5 mm - Mint in case $30 [SOLD]

All prices are Firm, including USPS Priority Mail Shipping, Insurance and Fees.

**********************************************************

I'm trying the Multi-Item post method to see if I can make this work. These items will stay up for a while, then remainders will go to an auction site.

These items will complete my LBA Moratorium pledge made September, 2008. I am selling items that may be fun to own but that do not get enough use.

I am located in St. Louis, Missouri.

I accept PayPal only; I ship to PayPal Confirmed addresses, USA (all 50 states).

Non-USA buyers please PM for additional shipping costs (actual charge).

As some forum members have encountered by PM's, I've been contemplating switching to primes from my Tokina ATX-Pro AF 80-200/2.8. A cheaper but high IQ MF zoom in this range would help me take that plunge.

If I do that, is this the one? I might want a constant 2.8, but if I have fast primes as options, IQ would be far and away the main priority, and I've heard great things about this lens. But I'm not sure if there are even better classics I should hold out for..?

SO I've PM'ed, not yet committed to buying. Ears wide open for comments to help this chronic waffler decide...

These are very nice, have the A setting, and if this is the 3rd-edition, it's the
best of the Viv S-1 zooms, IMO.

Heavy, but that's the only quibble. Highly recommended.
