[SOLD] Pentax SMC Fzoom 250-600mm F5.6ED

I have for sale a beautifully huge lens that is in excellent to like new condition. I bought this on a impulse buy to photograph wildlife. Well, it was a huge overkill and my loss is your gain. It comes with the Trunk, 6 filters, lens hood and caring strap and all the manuals and unfilled warranty card. I paid just over $8K for it and I am looking to get $6500 shipped and insured via money order or cashiers check. We could do paypal but buyer will have to add 3.4%. Regardless here is your chance to own a huge lens for 2/3 of the price of a new one. PM or email any questions.

Robert

Nah, I think I'll hold out for the FA version, to match my other FA*

Do we have a new winner for "most expensive listing on forum ever"? Wow. (OK, there's a rule about not commenting on prices, but everyone gets that's not what this is about, right? But as long as I'm commenting--saving $1,500 on a lens? Wow!)

Seller and buyer: make sure a photo and reviews get submitted to the database.

Consider letting Adam use the pic in the lens review data base. Wow, I thought my impulse lens buying was bad.

Before becoming a registered member not too long ago, I used to read LBA posts anonymously on here and wonder about you guys...

Now, I admit to having run a quick check of my assets and regret to say I am just a bit over six grand short for this baby.

Wow...that's one drool worthy lens. I even have a tripod that would support it.
Are those spots on the front element?

No spots just crappy camera work on my part. I have had this lens out less than 20 times. I am looking to get into videography and I am looking for a really good 3CCD camera(Canon GL series or Sony PD) Would do a trade for the right one and boot. Thanks to all for the comments.

Hey, I got a very nice cute 3CCD video camera, a JVC GZ-MG505, w/ 30gb HD built-in. It works as a 5mp still camera too. You wanna trade for it? I don't mind topping up abit, let's say, another 30gb HD? Deal

Seriously, this looks like a wonderful lens. I'm sure someone would appreciate it for wide life and sports photography
