Item Description
Time for upgrades...

So, the K100ds is in brand new condition with only 3200 clicks. Had screen protectors on both screens from day one. No nicks or scratches what so ever. Camera was literally babied. Besides I'm a dust freak, so it's really clean.

Comes in the original box, with all the accessories. Lost the original "red on black" neck-strap, so it will come with an older, but original Pentax "white on black" one... I was using a wrist wrap anyways...

Unfortunately I don't have a second body right now, but i've managed to borrow a P&S piece of canon crap... so here are some pics I've got just before it got too dark... Gallery - Click!!!

No, the bag is not for sale... I love that thing to tears...

Can sell it separately or in a kit with the lens that i'm selling in this thread.

Of course he/she's angry, he has just found out that there's no market for the K100 in a world of higher resolution K200/KM/used K10 bodies. I'm in the same place, cranky as hell that I may have to send back my K20 because I can't sell a K100 at any reasonable price. Funny, everybody says it's the ideal entry level camera, with a great Sony sensor that, and at 8x10" it matches, or exceeds, the output from the K20 CMOS sensor but talk's one thing and money on the dresser is something else.

Hell, I've had a couple of martinis and I'm contemplating boxing up and shipping that K20 back to B&H and I'm real unhappy about it, sorry for venting,
Brian

Well, depreciation should always be considered when buying cameras, that's why I never buy new...

I see what you mean... And honestly speaking these 6MP are still more than adequate for my needs... I'm printing 17X11 (yeah I know, it's not a standard size, but i'm kinda abusing a super-expensive laser printer at work) most of the time, and prints come out just awesome... where it lacks is the burst speed when shooting RAW... So i was thinking about picking up a K10 or even the K20 if the price is right... On the other hand I might just keep the camera and wait for the K3#$% generation... in hopes that they will finally add an external button for the ISO selection...

The K100DS is an ideal camera - small, top LCD, shake reduction, works with
SDM lenses, and that sensor does low-light like nobody's business.

Anyone who has a K10D and would like to add a second body to get them
better high-ISO performance should get a K100D.

The following all were taken with this superb camera:

Al of those were a fungal-filled, thorium-yellowed S-M-C Tak 50 1.4

Here's a shot from the 50-135 on the K100DS:

I've found very few K100 + 50-135 images; I was starting to think the combination didn't work well. Please post any others that you can, thanks again,
Brian

Brian... thanks for hijacking my thread... But don't forget, the 50-135 will only work on the K100d Super as it supports SWM... That was one of the reasons I got one in first place... haven't got any SWM lenses though... not yet...
