I took these shots with the same model of TC, paired with an FA 50/1.4:

A joy to use!

Those "A" contacts really come in handy for P-TTL flash for stopping down & working hand-held so you don't have to fuss with getting a tripod in the right spot. Combined with wireless off-camera flash, you can have a little micro-studio effortlessly.

I've recently picked up an A 50/2.8 macro but I still won't be giving up my Viv TC any time soon. Instead I'll just be focusing even closer!

Who needs the marketplace? Apparently Curbster's just going to sell everything to artistcjconrad--might as well just PM!

Enjoy macroing, cj!

Hey David, I've checked out your photos; very nice!!
I appreciate what you're saying about this particular teleconverter (basically that's the reason I bought it) but the plain truth is I just don't use it. In just over a year of getting my first DSLR (the K10D) I've purchased a K20D and over 90 lenses, it seems I don't really get to know the lenses because I have too many. So, to cure that, I'm paring down the collection in the hope that I will use and appreciate the ones I'm left with a whole lot more.
