Sold my FA*85/1.4 a while ago, regretted, bought one back. But I need some cash for down payment of our newly bought flat (bad time to buy a house, I know ). Probably won't help much, but still better than keeping the lens in dry cabinet. I'm sure I'd buy one back again someday.

This FA*85/1.4 is absolute in mint like new condition, hard to find any sign of use at all on the barrel or glass. Well, probably some tiny dust inside or on the glass surface, but you have to look really hard to find them. There isn't any visible mark on the barrel or lens hood surface at all. Add a box, you can sell it as brand new I have never seen any FA*85/1.4 in better condition, and I've seen quite a few.

The lens comes w/ front and rear caps, lens hood, as shown in photos. No box or lens pouch, but I'll pack it really well before shipment.

Here are some photos of the actual lens. I purposely took these photos a bit under exposed so you'd see the defect/marks (which are pretty easy to hide w/ over exposed photos) if there is any. All photos are straight out of camera w/o any process at all, except some cropping. You can click on each photo to view its full 100% size copy.

Wow, that thing is fresh - can almost smell the newness on that beauty. Needless to say - I'd love to own it, but shouldn't even think about it. Having shot with the FA*85 recently, I know it is very much worth every penny however.

Funnily enough, after work the sun was still out and I took my daughter out to the park along with the 85mm. I'll say that mine is easily as in good condition as Frank's and everytime I pick it up, I feel like I'm holding a true jewel of a lens.

Possibly one of the more unforgiving lenses to shoot with due to wide wide aperture couple with a fairly long minimum shooting distance on top of a fairly long focal length, but when you get *that* shot, it's as good as gold. And the transition from in focus to out of focus on any of the photographs is really breathtaking.

If you are even considering this lens, I'd think long and hard about passing this one up because of the great condition of the lens.
