FWIW, if you had this up a couple of days ago - before I decided to go for the DA70 - I'd probably have jumped on this. I think it's great you're selling it with K-mount adapter attached. It's easy enough to find the M42 mount version on Ebay for a similar price, but I never went for it because I knew I'd want to "permanently" attach an adapter as you have done and that was going to make the whole deal too much of a hassle.

So, this is just a free bump (not that you needed it) to reiterate: this is a K-mount 85/2 for $120! Should make someone very happy!

Do you have any pictures taken with this lens? I've been eyeing a M 85 ... but keep thinking that this is half the price

There are quite a few example pictures from various J-9s posted on this forum. The main characteristics of the J-9 are:
  • A little soft wide open
  • Sharp when stopped down
  • Superb bokeh
  • Beautiful color rendition
  • Sturdy build
  • Handling is a bit ponderous
  • Fairly compact considering the focal length and max aperture
My J-9 is easily one of my favorite lenses and here is one of my favorite pictures taken with my copy:

LZOS Jupiter-9 85/2, probably f/4
