I just bought this from pcarfan a couple weeks ago but decided I am staying away from teleconverters for the time being. I bought this because I had three others and I thought if I narrowed it down to one it would simplify life. I think I need to just save for some good long glass. I only had it out one time testing so it is still in like new condition. It just doesn't suit me with my Sigma 100-300 f/4. I just love this lens all by itself.

This AFA is in mint condition.

It's primary use is to convert a MF lens into an AF lens. If it is used with another AF lens like the sigma 100-300, then it sort of gets in the way, and that's why you probably didn't like it.

You have to manual focus to get it close and then the AFA will finish the job. I missed it very much when i got my Vivitar 85/1.4.

OrenMc is an awesome guy, the buyer of this AFA will have the most pleasant experience with this transaction....I can guarantee you that.
