[SOLD] SMC-A 50/1.7, Tamron 90mm/2.5 Adaptall macro, 300mm/5.6 compact Mirror, Helios

Hello! Here is all the stuff I currently have available for sale in the Pentax system:

Tou-Five Star 300mm f/5.6 compact mirror lens

A condition. An extremely high-quality mirror lens, very sharp and good contrast unlike most other mirror lenses. Has a front glass element (which is clean). Operates smoothly. T-mount, works well with M42 adapters. Smaller than the DA 17-70.

Price: $100 shipped in the USA

Helios 58mm f/2 russian lens

C+ condition. Very interesting bokeh effect makes a unique lens. In good condition overall, but has a bit of fungus and errant oil inside. M42 mount.

Price: $15 shipped in the USA

Marexar 28-200mm lens

B- condition. Very small trail of fungus inside. Other than that, it is in perfect condition. PKA mount with electrical contacts and A-mode. Great all-purpose lens.

Price: $30 shipped in the USA

Pentax Super Program black/silver 35mm camera

B- condition. Excellent body except for a missing top cap to the winder, and some light use signs. Works perfectly as far as I can tell. BONUS: I'll also include an original Pentax super-program branded soft case.

Price: $60 shipped in the USA

I ship all my items worldwide at very low prices for shipping. Prices listed are if paid by money order. If paying by PayPal, please add %4 to the total. If you're interested in anything, please send me a PM. Thank you!

Hey! I don't have a decent camera right now so all the photos I could take would be blurry and poorly-lit, and not really help in discerning the condition of the item. However, I guarantee all the items I sell and if you're not happy, you can send it back for a full refund (less shipping charges), no matter how you paid.

Also check my feedback for positive ratings I've gotten. Thanks.

It looks exactly like this one:

It has the zebra focusing ring and the older-looking body. All metal mount.

You can see some sample pictures from this series lens here: http://www.mflenses.com/gallery/v/russian_lens/Helios/m4458mm/

Another forum member wanted to see pictures from the 300mm f/5.6 lens. I don't have pictures from this exact lens, but I do have ones from another 300mm f/5.6 lens that uses the exact same optical design and parts as the one I currently have for sale, so your results will be very similar. Here they are:

The only other mirror lenses I've ever seen come close to this quality are the Tamron BBAR 500/8 and Sigma 600/8. And this is even more compact and light.

Hi,

I would be interested in this lens.

Do you have any pictures of this lens? I'm new so please excuse the question what does no A Contacts mean? Is this a Manual or Autofocus lens? I have a K200d body.

Sigma 600mm f/8 mirror lens

A condition. No noticeable wear on the body except a little dust, no marks on the glass at all. Functions perfectly. Native PK mount, no A-contacts. Extremely sharp, rivals the Tamron 500mm f/8 adaptall lens, and offers 100mm more reach.

Price: $220 shipped in the USA

Hi there! Not having "A Contacts" means that it doesn't have any metal circles (pins/contacts) on the rear of the lens that match up with the contacts inside the mount on Pentax cameras, meaning that the lens can't directly transmit exposure information.

However, on your K200d, all you need to do is press the green button near the shutter button, and all of the exposure information will be taken care of for you so that your pictures don't come out too light or too dark. Since this lens has a constant aperture, there is absolutely no fiddling necessary. It really is that simple, and if you were to buy the lens, you'd basically be using exaclty the same as any other lens you own with no hinderance. It is manual-focus, like (99% of) all mirror lenses.

Wallyb,

Sounds great and thanks for the quick lesson on its operation. What do I need to do for payment?
Like I said I'm new and was familiar with mirror lenses yet. I only have a few so far.

Thanks...

Hi,

It appears that we were both sending private messages. You should get one from as well.

Also are you planning to post any wide angle lenses? I'm not trying to get an arsenal of lenses just some key lenses to cover most aspects.

Thanks and I will post the payment to you right away.

I can't think of any lens that I have at home or coming to me that is wider than 50mm; however, if I do come across one, I will proactively message you about it. Is there anything in particular that you're looking for so that I can keep an eye out for it for you?

I would appreciate it if you could.

I'm still on the fence on what exactly to pick up.

I have the kit lens 18-55 that I will probably sell. I have the 18-250 that I use almost all the time and I have a 80-320 lens. Oh and a 50mm f1.4, as you can see I don't have much yet.

I have been looking at the pentax da 12-24 lens and a sigma 10-20mm lens. Just not sure what to pick.

I have even posted a thread to get some suggestions as well.
