Volna-9.

It has the best buttery smooth bokeh I've ever seen of any lens. To me, the lens seems to be in nice condition. The M42 adapter is non Pentax version but built well (I paid more for this than the usual ebay non-generic ones, as it is made in Japan). The extension tubes are old TC's that I removed the inner lens element to use as an extension tube. These are 'auto' tubes, so it will keep the aperture open with K lenses.

I don't have any packaging. Just a flimsy lens cap and a flimsy end cap.

My FA77 with extension tubes comes close to how this renders, so I am planning to sell it. It is an absolutely phenomenal lens.

All of this was bought within the last 4 months. Lens $150, M42 adpater $18, TC's $25 and $25 for a total of $218. I am giving it away for $140. Most don't know about this lens, but check the few images in Flickr...this is a true jewel...even the FA77 with the ext. tube doesn't match it's rendering, but close enough for me to let this go.

I had been wanting this lens for a long time... searching, hunting... Finally picked up its 2nd cousin the Industar 50 F2.8 from Alan here on the forum...

So since I cant have it, I give the lens a nod, and you a bump. People who have Volna's swear by them.

P.s. I don't know how many times this has happened, where I have wanted a lens, finally choosing another one since it had not come up on this forum and then within a week, the lens I had wanted pops up here.

Sorry about it....I am just downsizing the number of lenses especially if another lens can do almost the same job....so, I thought I'll let this go. So, it was a sudden decision. If it doesn't sell, I have no problems keeping it.
