[SOLD] Free (well, almost) stuffs

All are gone, except for item #7.

Items claimed will be shipped USPS Priority next Tuesday, May 12.

Here's the deal: If you want any item, send me a private message saying so. Please include your shipping address.

I will definitely reply to the pm if you are the winner. If you are not, I will still try to reply to your pm but I can't guarantee that.

Don't send any money until you receive the item. When you receive it, add $5 for each item (or whatever amount you think it's worth to you) to the actual postage and send a donation of that amount to Pentax Forums. You don't have to tell anyone about this.

I'll donate the packing & shipping. I may not be able to ship this week, but definitely next week.

In the descriptions, "working shutter" means "it sounds good - 1/15 sec sounds slower than 1/125." I don't have a way to measure its accuracy.

All lenses are clean, no major flaws.
  1. Asahi Pentax Spotmatic body: working shutter, non-working light meter. The photos don't show a battery cover but it actually has it. I can add another body for parts only. Gone.

  2. Asahi Pentax Spotmatic 1000 body with strap: working shutter; light meter seems to work but slow. Gone.

  3. Asahi Pentax Spotmatic 1000 body without strap: working shutter; light meter seems to work but slow, rewind button (bottom) stuck in the "in" position. Gone.

  4. Pentax K1000 body: working shutter. The light meter was 2 stops under so I "customized" the ISO dial. It's working now but can't measure in low light. Mirror bumper and light seal recently replaced. No photos. Gone.
  5. Pentax ME Super body: everything works. When I got it, the mirror bumper had rotten, leaving the gooey stuff on the focusing screen. I cleaned up most of it but there are still some black marks. Mirror bumper and light seal recently replaced. No photos. Gone.
  6. Black Pentax MX body: non-working, for parts only. Gone.

  7. Two Yashica Electro 35 GS (or GSN, I don't remember): with original manual, non-working, for parts only. No photos.
  8. Screw-mount Mamiya/Sekor 50mm F/1.8: No photos. Gone.
  9. Screw-mount Vivitar 80 - 200mm F/4.5 (serial # 28xxxx): with case and front cap, no rear cap. Gone.

  10. M42 2X teleconverter. I'm not sure if it's Soligor or Vivitar. No photos. Gone.

Are the Yashica's intact "for parts" or in pieces "for parts"? And if the second is true, I assume they go as a pair? The shutter will fire at 1/500s without a battery, and that's it. Stuck shutters?

Would have loved a crack at the black MX...if for nothing more than a mantle piece

Yup. They go as a pair. If you are skillful, brave, and lucky, you might be able to make a good one out of them. That was what I wanted to do initially, but never had the time and the inspiration. You are welcome to the Yashicas.

I don't think the MX can be fixed without another one acting as an organ donor. Someone has claimed it anyway.

I'm on GSN #2...first one had broken meter wires and would have required the RF assembly to be removed. That was the first RF I'd worked with! Sold that to someone else who was going to use the lens to repair his.

The only thing mine is missing is the camera's manual...errrrr...tempting to get em, try to fix em since I've been inside 2, and keep the manual to complete my full original set...

Let me think about it...
