[SOLD] Canon Cable Release, Free XA, 120 Film, Fuji GA645W

Please note I only want to be paid in Canadian dollars using Paypal Instant Transfer, keep everything in North America (NA) for now

Canon RS-60E3
works with Pentax K100D, better built than the Pentax MZ-S remote
$30 CDN instant paypal shipping to NA included

Olympus XA
a compact camera, solidly built, aperture priority 35mm f2.8 zuiko lens! shutter speed is displayed by a needle in the viewfinder. it is a manual focus rangefinder, the patch is rather faint, but fairly usable, can be made more contrasty by using a patch of tape or a black mark on the center of the viewfinder. very fun to use it as a scale focus camera.

very good condition, flash included, batteries provided. manual is available online. problem is the camera overexposes about 1.5 stops compared to my SLRs, so if you like to use 800 speed film like i do, it's not that great, but if you use 400 speed film or slower, then everything should be dandy by setting a higher ISO. the seals are in very good condition, i believe they were replaced by the prior owner.

i paid waaaay too much for this camera sometimes and i do admit sometimes the results are inconsistent, but it is a ton of fun to use. i'm gonna give this away for the shipping only. i hope whoever gets this has the opportunity to try out film and have some fun.
$20 CDN instant paypal for shipping within NA SOLD!

120 Negative Film
purchased from Geauxpez here with a MF camera, but i don't really intend to shoot any of the negative film. i've refrigerated it and i believe Adam has as well.

Fuji GA645W
$600 CDN instant paypal shipping to NA included
this is the harder to find W version with the 45mm f4.0 lens (28mm on 35mm terms)
counter shows 1000 frames
body is in very good condition
includes generic 52mm cap and hard to find accessories the hood, the soft hood case, and the soft body case.

for people not familiar this camera, it takes 120 or 220 MF film shoots 16/32 frames. the manual can be found online. if you want to try medium format but don't want all the fuss and mess of manual labour, this is the camera for you. autofocus, auto exposure, rangefinder. from all the photos i have, the metering has been perfect with slide film, i used it for an autoshow and a walk outside on slide film and the metering was perfect, the lens is sharp as well.

2 minor things:
-for some reason i have problems getting the 16th frame, but i think following the instructions winds the film forward too far. if you load the film a little bit and close the back, the camera automatically winds the film to the right position (this is what happened when i loaded 220 film without knowing what i was doing).
-upon shipment to me, the camera was somehow dropped bending the bottom strap lug and slightly compressing the film door hinge at the bottom. i pried it open and now film door grazes the body ever so slightly right under the control wheel and there is a small scratch. however this has not affected the performance of the camera in any way.

Ahhh...missed the XA

Btw...that's a smokin deal for the MF film. It's too tempting especially since I'd need to buy a camera for them ahhhhhhh! Spiral out of control!!

Good luck Simon

I will confirm that the 120 film was refrigerated when I had it as well.

Bummer that I missed the XA.

The Olympus XA is one of my favorite cameras! It can really go with you anywhere, the focal length is really versitle, and its a blast to use. Congrats to whoever scored it

Free bump for the canon cable release, I got the same model from a friend recently for my K200D, works like a charm. AF, shutter release, and lock for bulb... it's a gem, and cheaper than the Pentax equivalent.
